Can Hartford Once Again Become
A Center for Innovation & Technology?
In a previous era, Hartford was home to some of the most creative and influential innovators in the world. Samuel Colt, Albert Pope, and others made Hartford a center for innovation and technology in the 19th century and helped make it one of the finest cities in the country. Now more than a century later there is a new group of innovators quietly helping to revitalize the city and shape Hartford’s future. On September 15th, a few of these innovators will discuss their exciting work. Their efforts, and those of other innovators being invited to join us on September 15th, have the potential to make Hartford a center for innovation and technology in today’s global economy and bring community economic development to the city and the region. Come join the discussion and bring your ideas on how innovation and technology can transform Hartford’s revitalization.
